Wait! Did you hear that? That was the rumor ball bouncing.

The Yin of yesterday has been balanced by the Yang of today - the current rumor is that one of the European agencies that said June 28 yesterday is saying June 20 today. The lovely lady from Spain has posted on Rumor Queen that she has no idea where that rumor is coming from as she has seen nothing other than the 28th on all her European discussion boards.

Some folks theorize that they meant 30th, not 20th - a typo if you will. Others follow the theory that they are speaking only for their agency - they only have families logged in through the 20th. Others say that's only one agency's opinion and there are still the other three who said the 28th yesterday.

Why do we choose to believe the bad and suspect the good? Why when you open yourself to the possibility that maybe, just maybe, the good rumor will apply to you...after all, you think - it has to eventually.

I think I'm going to assume my normal adoption attitude that it is what it is and what happens happens. Hope for the best, but prepare for the worst. The worst would most certainly be June 20th - that's 3 big ol' business days. The realistic is June 23. The hopeful is June 28.

Oh, rumors - why must you toy with us so? Our normally sweet cat Chopin has a touch of the Marquis de Sade. One of her favorite activities is to capture bugs and pull their legs off one at a time. Tortuous. Kinda like international adoption.
