Referral Day!

This morning the China Center of Adoption Affairs posted on their website that "The CCAA has finished the placement of children for the families whose adoption application documents were registered with our office before June 28, 2005."

That's us! Our referral is on its way! We have been matched with our daughter!

We are overwhelmed, overjoyed and over the moon!

Our adoption agency, Dillon, will receive her photos, age, size, weight, medical information, developmental description and location in a few days. As soon as we receive our "Paper Piper" we will post her precious photos and provide more information.

A bit on semantics, the CCAA always states that they've placed children with families logged in "before" the date, but the date listed is always included in the referrals. Since our log in date is June 28, I thought I should explain.

And keep our sweet baby Piper in your thoughts today. She's somewhere in China without any idea of the amazing world that awaits her.
